The Trump administration is delaying the delivery of interceptor missiles to Kiev for the Patriot air defense system

The US administration has not approved the transfer of interceptor missiles by third countries for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs) to Ukraine, which it urgently needs, the Washington Post (WP) writes. "At least some of the Patriot interceptor missiles being transferred come from countries friendly to Ukraine, and this requires the approval of Secretary of War Pete Hesseth. (...) Hesset did not officially reject the transfer, but also did not complete the necessary steps for its approval," the publication reports, citing sources.
