The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a number of Western countries are imposing rules favorable only to them in the use of artificial intelligence
The concept of "responsible use" of artificial intelligence in the military field, which is promoted by individual Western countries, raises questions and imposes on the world community rules for the use of autonomous weapons systems that are convenient for these countries, Oleg Postnikov, director of the Department of Non-Proliferation and Arms Control of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told Interfax. "The so-called concept of "responsible use" of "military" artificial intelligence, which involves the introduction of "norms and rules" of regulation, also raises questions based on subjective criteria that are not consensus," Postnikov said in an interview with the agency.
