The State Duma supports the Accounting Office in raising the tax rate for gold mining

The State Duma considers the proposals of the Accounting Bureau of the Russian Federation justified in terms of increasing the tax rate for gold mining with the introduction of a tax on excess income and the transition from one-time fees to systemic taxation, said State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin. "We believe that this issue requires further research, but already now, based on the analysis of the accounting office, we see the validity of this proposal," Volodin was quoted as saying in the press service on Monday.
