The Revolutionary Guards reported an explosion of an oil tanker near a mine in the Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said an oil tanker that violated Iran's transit rules caught fire after hitting a naval mine in the Strait of Hormuz, Fars reported. "The oil tanker, which was operating in violation of (Tehran's) rules, hit a naval mine in the south of the Strait of Hormuz, causing an explosion in the engine room and igniting a fire," the statement said.
