The Russian Foreign Ministry currently sees no prospects for a full renewal of energy cooperation with the European Union

The resumption of full energy cooperation between Russia and the European Union is now not in sight, given the position taken by European leaders, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Friday. "As for the full renewal of energy cooperation between the European Union and our country at the present moment, it is likely that such prospects, based on their statements and actions, will not be visible," Zakharova said at a briefing, in response to a question from Interfax.
