Companies face being banned from government procurement for false information

A bill prepared by Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to ban access to public procurement for companies that have provided false information is expected to be submitted to the government by the end of 2026, department head Maxim Shaskolsky said at the International Procurement Conference. "The bill, which would prevent procurement participants who provided false information from bidding at least once, was accepted by consensus of all interested authorities and is at a high level of readiness.
