Lisbon metro workers are on strike

Lisbon's metro is running minimally on Wednesday due to a strike caused by inaction by its management, Portuguese television reports. "Trade unions approached the metro management and pointed out a number of problems, in particular, lack of personnel and excessive work after working hours, but the management did not give concrete answers," the television reported.
