Russia's Supreme Court notes a high percentage of overturning acquittals based on a jury's verdict, said Nikolai Timoshin, the Supreme Court's deputy chairman of the Criminal Cases Council, at a meeting of the Supreme Court's Scientific Advisory Council. "In the year 2025, 643 criminal cases were examined with the participation of jurors, which amounted to only 0.1% of the total number of cases considered - 540,962.
