Lukashenko denies the infiltration of an armed Belarusian group into Latvia
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with the security bloc on Tuesday in Minsk, denied statements by the Latvian authorities about the infiltration of an armed group from the territory of Belarus into Latvia, BelTA reports. "We know very well, I was already informed about it, that everything was done as an informative reason to receive money from the European Union by the Latvians themselves," he said. "We have nothing to do with that, that we penetrated there into their territory - masked people, military - someone was caught, captured or pushed there by some group of immigrants.
