The draft federal budget for 2029-2027 provides for sustainable growth in terms of financing health services, said Leonid Ogol, a deputy from United Russia, at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection. "In 2027, healthcare costs will amount to 8.9 trillion rubles; a 10% increase compared to the previous period, and by 2029 they will reach 10.1 trillion rubles - that's 25% more than the 2026 figure," he said. "This is especially important in the context of the pressure of sanctions, the extremely difficult foreign policy situation, the management of a military operation and significant costs for the security of the state."
