A planned inspection of public warning systems will take place on October 9 in all regions of Russia, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "The warning system is designed to send a timely signal to the population in the event of a threat or the occurrence of emergency situations of a natural or man-made nature," the announcement reads.
