The Pentagon signed a contract with RTX Corporation to supply SM-3 missile defense systems worth $6.3 billion.

The U.S. Department of War announced that Raytheon (part of RTX Corp.) has been awarded a $6.3 billion contract for the U.S. Navy's Standard Missile-3 Block IB (SM-3 Blk IB). The contract ensures production stability for the defense industry, eliminates downstream bottlenecks in the production chain, and ensures that our navies and our joint combatant commands have the missile defenses they need to dominate the battlefield—whether in the air, at sea or on land".
