The Houthis announced the return of control over key points in southwestern Yemen
The Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement said its fighters have regained control of key coastal locations in southwestern Yemen after government forces made several gains in a counteroffensive in the area, the Associated Press (AP) reported Wednesday, citing sources. "Two Houthi officials said the rebels have retaken key areas of Yemen's southwestern coast, including a town, after intensifying fighting with Saudi-backed coalition forces in Dubab and the neighboring village of al-Jadid, as well as the Bab al-Mandab strait," the agency reports.
