The planned release by the member states of the International Energy Agency of 100 million barrels of oil and oil products from reservoirs will be done as part of the March agreement to bring about 400 million barrels to the market, and no more. "Full release of all the reserves promised but not yet released as part of the collective action plan of March 2026 will bring about 100 million barrels to the market, said the IEA. - At today's meeting, the governments of the member countries of the IEA expressed support for accelerating the release of oil reserves (...) with the aim of completing this process as soon as possible."
