The United States conducted the first successful flight test of the developing hypersonic HACM (Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile), The War Zone reported, citing a US Air Force spokesman. "The US Air Force, along with Australia, flight test the HACM hypersonic cruise missile as part of our ongoing work to improve long-range strike capabilities," an Air Force spokesperson told the publication. "The Royal Australian Air Force test-launched an HACM missile over a designated Australian test site, collecting critical data to support program objectives," he added.
