A magnetic storm ends on Earth
A moderate-intensity magnetic storm ended on Earth on Monday, the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute (IKI) and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics (ISTP) of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported. "On Earth, a day late compared to the forecast, the second magnetic storm of this fall has passed and ended," the report said. "The cause of the current storm (...) was the effect of a medium-sized coronal hole, which is currently still ongoing, but the peak of intensity has already passed," the laboratory reported.
