A tax on income from deposits could bring to the budget almost a trillion rubles in 2027

Personal income tax receipts on income in the form of interest on deposits in 2027 may increase to 1 trillion rubles from 632 billion rubles expected at the end of 2026, according to the explanatory note to the draft federal budget for the next three years.
