Reshetnikov said that EU countries are not ready to substantially discuss trade issues

EU countries are not ready to substantively discuss trade issues with the Russian Federation and speak only in political slogans, while the US approach to this issue is more pragmatic, said Maxim Reshetnikov, Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, who heads the Russian delegation at the G20 Trade Ministers meeting held from September 30 to October 1 in Milwaukee (USA). "If we are talking about European countries, there was no business approach," the minister replied when asked about the attitude towards Russia from the EU and the US at the G20 ministerial meeting - business or political. "To the best of my knowledge, on other tracks no one is discussing anything practically and is not ready."
