Senator from Kamchatka Ponomarev retained his seat in the Federation Council

Valery Ponomarev was elected a member of the Federation Council from the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka Territory, the regional parliament told Interfax. "At the first session of the regional parliament of the fifth convocation, held on Thursday, Ponomarev was unanimously elected as a representative of the legislative assembly of the Kamchatka Territory in the Federation Council," the legislative assembly said.
