Russian banks provided individuals with housing mortgage loans totaling 2 trillion 959.6 billion rubles in January-August 2026, which is 31.8% more than in the same period of 2025 (2 trillion 245.8 billion rubles), according to data on the Central Bank of the Russian Federation's website.
