Foreign Ministry called Western pressure on African leaders ahead of the summit short-sighted policy

Russia sees attempts by Western countries to influence African leaders to prevent them from coming to Moscow for the Russia-Africa summit, said official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. "As we approach the summit, we, of course, record attempts by Westerners and ill-wishers to exert pressure on African partners, in order to prevent their arrival in Moscow."
