The fate of the Kalamkas-Sea and Kazar projects, implemented in Kazakhstan jointly with LUKOIL, has yet to be determined, said the Republic's Deputy Energy Minister Arlen Abarov. "No decision has been made regarding the Khazar (Kalamkas-Yim - Khazar - IF), and no decision has yet been made regarding LUKOIL," Akbarov told reporters on the sidelines of the oil and gas conference - KIOGE 2026 in Almaty.
