Pashinyan noted that the decision on a new nuclear unit in Armenia will be purely economic

The final decision regarding the establishment of a new nuclear power unit in Armenia will be of a purely economic nature, the Armenian government's press service reported following negotiations between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and CEO of Rostom Alexei Lichchev. The Prime Minister noted that the government of the Republic of Armenia continues to discuss proposals received from international partners regarding the construction of a new nuclear power unit, and a decision will be made in the foreseeable future.
