Kazakhstan refused to comply with NCOC's claim to cancel the collection of a 2.3 trillion tenge fine

The Interdistrict Administrative Court of Atyrau Region dismissed the lawsuit of the Kashagan field operator (North Caspian Operating Company, NCOC) to declare legal and cancel the decision to initiate enforcement proceedings to collect a fine of 2.3 trillion tenge, in accordance with the court decision of September 23, 2026.
