Contracts with Aeroflot for 108 MS-21 guaranteed a full load of IAZ until 2032

Firm contracts with Aeroflot for the supply of 108 MS-21 aircraft ensured full capacity utilization of the Irkutsk aviation plant (IAZ is a branch of PJSC Yakovlev, part of UAC Rostec) until 2032, including production under new contracts, including export, possible after this period, said plant director Andrei Soinov. "After signing (with "Aeroflot" - IF) the contract for 90 MS-21 aircraft, our capacity is fully loaded until 2032," Soinov told reporters. "So yes, our services are looking into the possibility of deliveries to "friendly" countries, but aircraft production under new contracts is already beyond the horizon of 2032."
