Tokayev fired the head of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan's President Kassem-Jomart Tokayev dismissed Defense Minister Dauren Kosanov from his post, the press service of the head of the republic reports. "By order of the head of state, Daurn Zhumtyevich Kusanov has been dismissed from his post as Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan," read a statement issued on Sunday.
