The reform of the UN Security Council cannot provide additional seats for the Western countries; Asian, African and Latin American countries must increase their representation, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. "Our principled approach is that the reform of the Security Council cannot provide additional seats to the Western countries, especially Germany and Japan, which have taken the path of militarization and modernization," Lavrov said on Saturday, in a speech at the United Nations.
