Lavrov discussed the armed conflict in this country with the head of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with his Sudanese counterpart Mohildin Salem "on the sidelines" of this week's 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday. "During the conversation, the main attention was paid to the situation in Sudan in the context of the ongoing armed conflict between the regular army and the rebel rapid reaction forces," the statement said.
