The Foreign Ministers of Russia and India, Sergey Lavrov and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, during the negotiations on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, discussed the regional and international agenda, including the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports. The heads of foreign affairs departments discussed key issues of Russian-Indian cooperation, the calendar of upcoming bilateral contacts, as well as current issues on the regional and global agenda, including the Ukrainian crisis and the situation in the Middle East," reads a statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
