Gazprom noted China's high demand for gas from the Siberian powerhouse

The supply of gas to China through the Power of Siberia gas pipeline in the first half of 2026 exceeded the level of the corresponding period last year, according to Gazprom's report. "The increase in gas supply to pipelines by Gazprom PJSC occurred against the background of a reduction in gas imports from China (mainly LNG), which shows the high demand for Russian pipeline gas in the Chinese market," the company notes.
