The Ministry of Finance proposed to link the application of the Zero Gas Production Tax (MET) to gas production in fields located in full or in part on the Yamal and Gidan Peninsula, which are used to produce liquefied natural gas, ammonia or hydrogen, with the conclusion of an investment agreement, a source familiar with the draft amendments to the tax law told Interfax.
