On Thursday, “on the sidelines” of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Panama, Javier Eduardo Martinez Acha, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports. “The heads of foreign affairs agencies assessed the current state of Russian-Panamanian ties and outlined prospects for strengthening them,” the report says.
