Pyotr Tolstoy is nominated as a candidate for chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs

Former State Duma Deputy Chairman of the Eighth Congress, Pyotr Tolstoy, has been appointed by United Russia to the position of head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, party chairman Dmitry Medvedev said. "The positions of the heads of the committees are proposed (...): Pyotr Olgovych Tolstoy - the Committee on International Affairs," Medvedev said at a joint meeting of the Supreme Council Chamber and the General Council of the party on Thursday.
