Pakistan said it struck Afghanistan in response to drone attacks

The Pakistan Air Force carried out airstrikes on several targets in Afghanistan on Thursday morning in response to drone attacks from Afghan territory, Pakistani Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said. "The airstrikes were targeted, precise, calibrated and proportionate and were carried out only on identified military targets that were directly related to attempted attacks on Pakistan," he wrote on the X social network.
