The European Union has proposed opening up 4.2 billion euros to Hungary to strengthen the rule of law

The European Commission has proposed releasing €4.2 billion of cohesion policy funds to Hungary and restoring the country's full access to the EU's Erasmus+ education program and the Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
