Moldova plans to extend Gazprom subsidiary's position as gas supplier in Transnistria

Moldova's Ministry of Energy has approached the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) with a proposal to extend the powers of Moldovagaz JSC (more than 63% of the shares are controlled by Gazprom) as a natural gas supplier to the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic (PMR) until April 30, 2027, Energy Minister Dorin Dzonghi said. "We recently submitted to ANRE a proposal to extend this obligation to supply gas to the left bank of the Moldovabaz company until the end of the heating season, that is, until April 30.
