The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has prepared new rules for admission to universities for the academic year 2027/28: physics, history and mathematics will become mandatory in several fields; The multidisciplinary competition will be cancelled; Candidates will be able to receive up to 25 additional points for a high consolidated exam result in a subject not required for the main competition, as well as for other achievements; In the master's degree program, the choice will be limited to five fields.
