China increased its import of Russian oil by 41% in August.

The increase in China's oil imports in August was made possible by increased supply from Russia; purchases from other major exporting countries fell, mainly from Saudi Arabia – by almost half, according to Interfax calculations based on data from the General Customs Administration (GTU) of the People's Republic of China.
