The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation named interference in the work of the election commissions among the reasons for the dismissal of 15 observers

The court removed 15 observers from eight regions from the last election, mainly because of interference in the activities of election commissions, said Alla Pampilova, chairwoman of the Central Election Commission of Russia. "Unfortunately, the number of observers decreased slightly due to the fact that 15 of them in eight regions had to be removed by the court," Pampilova said Monday at the CEC information center.
