The US has intercepted almost 110 merchant ships after renewing the blockade on Iran

The US Navy has intercepted 109 Iranian-affiliated merchant ships heading to or from Iranian ports since the resumption of the naval blockade on Iran, the US Central Command-Middle East (CENTCOM) said on Sunday. "As of September 20, US forces have diverted 109 commercial vessels to ensure full compliance with regulations," it said.
