The US has warned allies of possible delays in the delivery of key weapons for up to five years.

The US has told its allies that deliveries of critical weapons could be delayed for up to five years due to the need to replenish its depleted stockpiles, Bloomberg writes. "The military fired so much ammunition at targets in the first months of the war with Iran that it created a strategic inventory shortage and exposed the defense industry's constraints on ammunition renewal, Pentagon officials told its inspector general," the agency reported.
