Repair work at the Karachagnak oil and gas field, which began on September 7, will continue until October, the reduction in oil production will be up to 450 thousand tons, the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan told Interfax-Kazakhstan. "The repair work at the Karachagnak field began on September 7, 2026 and according to the current schedule will continue until October 1," the Ministry of Energy's response to the request stated. "During the repair period, the decrease in production is expected to be about 400-450 thousand tons."
