A Panama-flagged tanker is being towed to the port of Oman after a fire

Omani authorities are towing the oil tanker to Gaya after a fire broke out on board, The National reported on Tuesday, citing the Oman Maritime Safety Centre. "The Oman Maritime Safety Center, in coordination with the relevant authorities, is towing the Panama-flagged Al Gaya oil tanker to an Omani port after a fire in its engine room was extinguished," the National quoted the department as saying.
