Oil production in Kazakhstan fell by 8.4% over eight months

In Kazakhstan, in January-August 2026, 61.7 million tons of oil were produced, a decrease of 8.4%, the government press service reported on Monday. "The physical volume index (in oil production - IF) for eight months amounted to 91.6%, 61.7 million tons of oil were produced, compared to 91.1% and 53.2 million tons in January-July 2026," the report states.
