According to him, Balvia will be able to directly receive spare parts, components and software for the aircraft it operates. It also makes it possible to negotiate the purchase of aircraft directly from Boeing.
Cherginets recalled that the US Treasury previously issued a similar permit, which provided the technical possibility for Belvia to cooperate directly with Boeing. According to him, a year ago the US government issued a certificate that removed the American political sanctions from Belvia. The head of the airline emphasized that these decisions were made possible after negotiations between the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and a delegation from the United States. On October 22, the leader of Belarus said that progress has been made on many issues in the negotiation process between Belarus and the US.
