🇩🇪️ - Mass demonstrations by young leftists against the government policies of Friedrich March took place in dozens of cities in Germany.
Protesters, organized by the late Jenner movement, opposed the increase in military spending and the possible return of mandatory service. They also called for a lower cost of living, more education funding and stronger climate protection.
In Berlin, between 2,700 and 5,000 people gathered near the Brandenburg Gate. Demonstrations were also held in Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt and other cities.
Some participants wore Halloween costumes and carried flags of the former German Democratic Republic (GDR), Palestine, Russia and the PKK, alongside communist symbols.
Ahead of the demonstrations, store owners reinforced storefronts amid fears of unrest, while the police increased security measures.
