๐บ๐ธ๏ธ A victory of the Democrats in the US elections may open the way for new aid to Ukraine even despite Trump's veto, Reuters reports.
If Democrats gain control of both houses of Congress in the Nov. 3 election, they could put new funding for Ukraine up for a vote. With the support of two-thirds of the votes in each chamber, Congress could override a presidential veto.
Democrats could also oppose the easing of sanctions against Russia and push for the restoration of international aid.
