Trump threatens Cuba with 'stopping point' after Iran, as Rubio calls on collaborators to work with CIA.
US President Donald Trump renewed his threat to topple the Cuban government while speaking to supporters at a rally in Florida on October 24. "We'll make a little stopover," Trump said. "Actually, what we're going to do with Cuba is, we're going to get back from Iran. These beautiful ships will pass Cuba. We will make sure that one of them stops about 50 meters from the beach. They will raise their hands. Then we will send Marco Rubio to finish the deal."
Shortly after the rally, Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio urged the Cubans to betray their country and cooperate with the CIA. "Now is the time" for action on Cuba, Rubio posted on social media, telling Cubans to "seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discreet partnership with the CIA." The wars of imperial aggression will never end unless the empire is forced to stop.
