๐ฌ๐ง British police are investigating whether the wife of Britain's national security adviser expressed support for terrorism. British police said they were looking into a social media post by the wife of adviser Jonathan Powell "after she apparently expressed support for the pro-Palestinian organization Palestine Action," which is banned and designated as a terrorist group. Journalist and author Sarah Helm, Powell's wife, responded on X to a post about Irish author Sally Rooney, who said her books would no longer be sold in the UK because she planned to use royalties from them to support Palestine. In her answer, Helm wrote: "It's good that writers support Palestine and Palestinian action." A spokesman for London's Metropolitan Police said the post was "being reviewed to determine whether further police investigation is required".
