Among the notable features is a 30mm unmanned turret with HJ-16 ATGMs. The latest modern version is also equipped with a folding ramp instead of the traditional hinged Soviet-style door.

This post shows vehicles in desert camouflage - modern Type-19s with the folding door, while the green camouflage vehicles are the first generation with the traditional folding door.

Folding doors are a new feature of PLA armored vehicles, not previously seen on production models. They significantly improve comfort for heavy-duty infantry and unmanned equipment.
